After sending two patches to two different people on IRC, the NetBSD genius known as nishi came with the idea of git-send-irc, only for me following suit straight after in #general, and this was what happened:
> ykm_izuru: even IRC is better than email, btfo drew devault > nishi: git-send-irc > nishi: neeed :uohhhhh: > ykm_izuru: git-send-irc (idea) would just use ii or something > scriptable to send the damn thing > nishi: wtf we are thinking same thing lmao > ykm_izuru: lmao you beat me to it > [...]
Somehow after that, I ended up writing a proof of concept which is hosted here: <https://git.chaotic.ninja/usr/yakumo_izuru/git-send-irc/>
Ideally, I should either rewrite it in Perl, since it can handle IRC natively or, rewrite it in C using the libw3 library, developed by nishi, but unfortunately I know neither language well, lol.
So I guess it's going to stick like that until I figure something out
