A rather complicated storm arrived on town, day was December 17, year
was 2023, by mid day, an electricity outage happened, a bit later after
the networking outage, everything was destroyed, but that was eventually
rebuilt, my house almost ran out of water by Tuesday, until the
electricity poles were replaced and rewired, and by 4 PM local time, the
service returned... But the networking didn't return, for about a month
until January 14, where the ISP people rewired the village's poles,
restoring the service. It has been a literal hell of a time, my sister
obviously complaining for it at me, I was resigned by that point.
I felt pure and complete dread at being isolated from the Outside World,
I didn't like it at all.
