Title:
About the Mirage AIB mentions on some software projects

One might wonder when a rather insignificant text with a link to it attached on a public instance of a software project in particular means.

I have the answer to that, as I am the one who founded the Mirage organization years ago, along with an acquaintance, its original purpose was to be a Software Development Unit, but as time passed, it had became largely ignored by its own people, who each work on their own, on their respective things.

One day, I decided that I wanted to revive the organization, and Mai, the SimplyTranslate fork I made, was the first to bear the title of 'a Mirage AIB project', which means that there's official support to the software in question.

The latest to bear the title is Yukari's Gap, a fork of MortyProxy which I also maintain.

However, for the project to have that title, it first has to be deemed worthy of it by me, and the requirements are the ones stated below:

* To be as bug-free as possible (e.g. Matenshi IRCd doesn't qualify) * To not have features that are beyond of the scope intended (e.g. an IRC daemon must not have WebSockets) * To use a permissive license such as BSD3CLAUSE, ISC, or MIT/X11 (optional) * To not be written in a programming language other than C, Go, and POSIX sh (debatable) * And ideally, to follow the UNIX philosophy as possible (e.g. interacting with other programs using pipes)
